Christmas Time

Hi all!!! We had a wonderful Christmas and Caden had so much fun. He enjoyed opening that presents and ripping up all the tissue paper!!! He got lots of toys and clothes too. Now its back to everyday life!! We are looking forward to 2009 and all that it brings. Its going to be a great year full of fun and memories. First of all on January 1st Daniel and I are celebrating 10 years together and on the 9th its my 25th birthday and my sister, Caden and I are heading out to Texas!! Then in March Daniel will be turning 27 and we are planning a trip to Arizona to visit family and friends. In on April 30th Caden will be turning 1!!! Then in May Slaven will be home from Iraq and Dan and I will be celebrating our 3 year anniversay. Oh man I am tired already and that is only the first 5 months of 2009!! Ready or not 2009 here we come!!! Here are some pictures from all of our Christmas festivities!

Good Grief

So Caden has decided that he is going to crawl! He is doing the whole army crawl so pray for me! Also this kid is big he is already wearing a size 4 diaper!

Sick Baby

My poor little man has his first bout of sickies :( He has a stuff nose and a little cough. He doesn't seem too bothered my it, he just gets mad when he can't breathe while eating his bottle. I hope he gets better soon!

Santa Claus

Yesterday we took Caden to the LA Zoo to have his picture taken with Santa Claus and he did such a good job. He just sat there and smiled and stared at Santa and didn't even cry. Makes me so proud!! I can't beleive that he is 7 months old today!! My little baby :(

Christmas Pictures in the Park

On Saturday we went down to La Cresenta park and my sister took pictures of us for our Christmas card (which is all done, printed and ready to be mailed!! GO ME!!!). We had a ton of fun and Caden was in a good mood and he had a blast just playing in the grass. We even put him in the swing and he swang there for about 15 min. and he loved it!!! It was alot of fun!! Here are some of my favorites :)

Cousin Love

So I started watching my neice while my sister in law goes back to school and this is the second week I have had her here. It is alot of fun with 2 babies under a year but I really have no idea how people with twins or more do it!!!! It is fun now that Caden sits up on his own it is easier for them to play with each other. Aurora use to beat up on Caden a few months ago and now he is able to get her back so better watch out for hte next 18 years!! It is really fun cause they are only 4 months apart so they are always going to be the same age and in the same grade!! :)




 

6 Month Check up

Caden had is 6 month appointment today and I am proud to say I have a big healthy boy!! He is now weighing in at 19lb. and 28 inch. long he is in the 90th percentile!! Woohoo!! Also the doctor said that he is developmentally an 8th month old so he is advanced, and now we have Dad and Grandpa fighting over who he got his genius from :) haha! He is doing good and goes back in a month to get the rest of his flu shot. I am so proud of him!

Sad day...

This is a sad day in our country's history. I am afraid for my child and future children. Get down on your knees and pray people this country needs it!

Pumpkin Carving

Caden had his first pumpkin carving experience, well actually he slept through most of it :) But we had fun and I carved his pumpkin in to Jack Skelton cause he is so cute like Caden. Daniel of course did the scariest one :) We had fun and Caden had fun playing with the pumpkins when we were all done.

Grandpa's New Toy

So Dad got himself a new toy this weekend, he got a Yamaha Rhino and he and Caden are both in love with it. I am sure that over the next few years Caden will have his fair share of rides from Grandpa :)

Spider Man, Spider Man

So this year for Halloween Caden is going to be 2 things, cause well I can! On Sunday the preschool us having a Trunk or Treat and so my friend Katie let me borrow a costume since on Halloween is going to be a pirate and well he can't be the same thing twice. So he is going to be a spider and he is the cutest spider I have ever seen!!

Caden Laughing

Lombardi Ranch

We took Caden to Lombardi Ranch on Sunday we all had a ton of fun and so did Caden :) I can't wait for Caden to be a bit older so that he can enjoy Lombardi more, next year he can do the hayride and climb the hay stacks. It is actually bittersweet cause I want him to stay little but yet I can't wait for him to gow up so he can experience all the wonderful things about childhood.

We have a tooth!!!

That's right Caden's first tooth finally brooke through yesterday!!! I knew he had been teething for week so yesterday I decided to feel around and I got poked!! Yeah my little man is getting so big!!!

Goodbye...

In just a few short hours Salven is leaving for Iraq. We are going to miss him and we are praying that he will be safe and come home soon. We have our yellow ribbon out on our post and it is not coming down til he is home and safe and sound. We love you Slaven.

Ok so anyone that knows us, knows that we are so not Dodgers fans but of course my husband is!! Well Daniel bought Caden a Dodgers hat before he was born and it finally fits him. Now I don't like the Dodgers and never will but I am sorry this kid looks to dang cute in his hat!!
